the journal for windows
this is the journal, the memory, for a windows PC. the solstone app takes in what you share, and all of it goes into your journal, on a PC you own.
before you download
- windows 10 (22H2) or 11, on an x64 PC (Intel or AMD)
- about 1.1 GB, and no administrator access needed
- one step in the terminal after it installs
- the local model needs a compatible GPU; without one, bring your own model
- confidential processing isn't available on windows
- an android phone pairs with it through the private network, which sol pbc runs for $20 a year, using the solstone app 2.1.19 or later, from solstone.app/download/android. pairing an iphone with a journal on windows hasn't been tested yet.
after it installs
- open a new terminal window and run
solstone journal setup. - open your journal in your browser and follow setup.
- install the solstone app for windows and connect it to your journal.
